"Look out too for Lynne Roebuck’s delightfully simple linocuts and [another artist's work], both showing that colour isn’t everything". Roger Osborne reviewing the East Coast Exhibition for High Tide arts magazine - January 2008.

2008 East Coast Open.
East Coast Open Exhibition 2008, Scarborough Art Gallery, Yorkshire.
Both prints Lynne submitted, were selected for display in the East Coast Open art exhibition in February 2008. This was the second time Lynne had successfully offered relief prints for selection at this bi-annual art event, where the quality of art is usually high. Many professional artists enter this exhibition, invariably pushing the standard up. 'Scarborough Castle' and 'Flamborough Light' (Sold) are examples of traditional printmaking technique.
2006 East Coast Exhibition.
The 2006 East Coast Open was the first time Lynne submitted work, and she was delighted when her 'Kilburn Horse' relief print (Sold) was accepted. Her delight was to grow when the artwork sold and an invitation to exhibit at another prestigious local venue was received. Lynne was unable to take up the invitation, however, due to her commitments at that time, which included a Fine Art Masters.
