The Mighty Oak
This traditional style linocut print shows a grand old Oak dwarfed by towering Poplar trees. A delightfully 'mighty' Oak indeed.
A 18cm x 15cm (7.12" x 6") print.
The two printmaking blocks used in this picture have both been inked with graduated colour, creating an unpretentious landscape with, nevertheless, a quiet subtle sophistication – best appreciated by viewing the original print itself.
