Now at: Trattles and Geall

Lynne's new collection of original prints is now available to view at Trattles and Geall fine art gallery, Whitby, North Yorkshire, UK.

Lynne is very pleased to have had her artwork accepted at this distinguished fine art gallery which has consistently presented only high quality original art since it's establishment over 10 years ago.

Picture: early morning in Church Street, Whitby, where the warm interior of Trattles and Geall wakes to bright autumnal sunshine.

The historic and famous seaside town of Whitby with it's abbey, harbour and cliffs provides artists with lots of inspiration and it will no doubt feature in Lynne's second collection of distinctive original prints.

Exhibitions, sales and good reviews - great start!

The beginning of 2008 sees Lynne's fine art practice finally becoming tangible.. and with highly positive results.

March was quite a month – having artwork selected and selling at recent regional art shows; a positive review in a local arts magazine; and finally, receiving a request from business that Lynne keep them informed of her programme. An excellent start to 2008. Fine art has never been a hobby, but always a vocation, always a professional intent. Up till now, Lynne has worked as a fully employed illustrator, designer and design team manager.

East Coast Open second time: lucky once again!

art

East Coast Open Exhibition 2008, Scarborough Art Gallery, Yorkshire.

So it seems the first time was not just a fluke. Indeed, Lynne submitted two prints, 'Scarborough Castle' and 'Flamborough Light', this time and both have been accepted. Not only this, but a sale was secured once again and a positive highlight in a review of the exhibition.

This bi-annual art event, attracts many professional artist so the quality of art is usually high.

Fine art Masters degree final show

The end of a great deal of work, the beginning of a great deal of work!

In complete contrast to Lynne's previous experience exhibiting work, this show at Leeds Metropolitan University was a focused quiet affair. A space for her work alone was quite daunting at first, but highly enriching as an exercise.

East Coast Open - first time lucky?

This is the first time Lynne has submitted prints to an open art exhibition.

The 2006 East Coast Open is the first time Lynne has submitted original prints and she's delighted to announce that her 'Kilburn Horse' has been accepted and on display at Scarborough Art gallery during February 2006. Even better, the artwork has sold and an invitation to exhibit at another highly regarded local venue received. Lynne is unable to take up the invitation, however, due to her commitments at this time, which include a Fine Art Masters.
